This new facility strengthens Nayak’s commitment to delivering top-tier line maintenance services and reinforces our capability to support our clients wherever they operate. The Bilbao station is fully equipped to handle the Airbus A32X family, including all engine types, and is focused on providing AOG assistance, ensuring swift response to urgent operational needs. Although scheduled maintenance is not yet performed on site, the team is already making a difference with its responsive service. 

Located at Bilbao Airport (BIO), one of the most important hubs in the region with over 5 million passengers per year and direct connections to 25+ countries, this station plays a key role in connecting Nayak to major European routes and customer bases. 

Team spirit, hard work and a new beginning in BIO 

Behind every new station there is much more than tools and procedures, there is people, passion and perseverance. In the days leading up to the operational launch, the newly formed team in Bilbao showed true dedication by transforming the workspace with their own hands. They painted, cleaned, assembled furniture, connected power, becoming electricians, bricklayers, carpenters, and above all, teammates. 

On May 6th, 2025, the hard work paid off. The first aircraft visit marked a return to the core of our mission: being close to our clients and their aircraft. Since then, the BIO team has handled a record number of AOG callouts, supporting not only in Bilbao but also in EAS (San Sebastián) and SDR (Santander). 

These early days have been filled with challenges, but also with growth, as the reward is always greater in the form of pride in being part of something bigger.
