Nayak Expands European Footprint with Acquisition of LAS Maintenance

Nayak Aircraft Services, Europe’s largest independent provider of line maintenance, is pleased to announce the acquisition of a controlling stake in the LAS Group, a well-established Portuguese line maintenance provider. Following the transaction, founder João Louro will remain a shareholder in the company and will continue to lead LAS Maintenance as its Chief Executive Officer. This strategic step reinforces Nayak’s commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-centric aviation services across an expanded European network. The LAS Group is consisting of LAS maintenance, LAS Training and SLOT-Human Resources.  

The integration of LAS Group into the Nayak Group marks a significant milestone in Nayak’s growth strategy, further strengthening its presence in Southern Europe while enhancing service continuity and responsiveness for airline customers. To ensure complete stability for airline partners, LAS Group and LAS Maintenance’s existing management and operational structure will remain intact, and the company will keep operation under the same brand. The company will continue to deliver the same high service levels, operational responsiveness, and technical quality that clients expect, now fortified by the broader resources and scale of a solid and international group.
